“ Got to try Mannequin Pis while out for an anniversary dinner. We went on a Wednesday so it was not busy at all for dinner. By how good this place was, I would imagine it gets pretty busy on the weekends. The food was outstanding, and the service was top tier. Many items and tastes from the Belgium region. The muscle pots were fantastic. I'm glad we stopped in and will for sure be back. ”
“ Cutest restaurant in Olney. Perfect for a date night. Not good for a large party though. Lovely food and great weight staff. It's a small location and parking is tight. I highly recommend the mussels. ”
“ Excellent service, staff, quality of food. Prices were surprisingly lower than expected for the quality and service. We had the lamb chop dish which was very tender along with a sauce that complemented it well and pomme frittes. Kilo of mussels with white wine, thyme, bay leaf, celery, onion was mild and very flavorful. Brussel sprouts were very good also. I would definitely recommend and return. ”
“ I'm sad it took me years to finally try this place. This has sky rocketed to the top of my favorite places to eat! Mussels were fantastic, fish was perfectly cooked as well as the risotto and then the chocolate moose was bomb! Service was very good and felt really at home. Will be back regularly! ”
“ My friend recommended Mannequin Pis to me long time ago, I finally have a chance to be in the region. The mussel pot is absolutely delightful. I see other tables orders multiple pots. We had Lavender: the pot with honey lavender that is sweet and flavorful. On the beer list, Trappist beers - Chimay, Westmalle, Rockford, Orval - they are all my favorites. Other foods we ordered are also delicious. ”
“ This place definitely qualifies as a hidden gem. It’s small and cozy, offers amazing food and service. It’s pricey, but totally worth it. We came here because it’s a few minutes away from the Olney theater. My wife and I really enjoyed our lunch here. The only minor hiccup was the red wine (do not recommend). This seems to be more of a Belgian beer place; they do have a very impressive selection of it. ”
“ We went on a Thursday. Pretty busy. Very delicious. Mussels were large and divine. Service was great! Beers were of course delicious duh, Belgian! I had the wild mushroom mussels. Please save your bread to soak up the broth, it's the most divine french onion soup you will have ever eaten. I'm just sorry I ate any bread before the mussels came. ”
“ Went for early dinner. Ordered escargot and smoked salmon appetizers. Also moules Provencal et frites. We ate everything. It was excellent! This is a hidden gem in Olney and I wish I had come here before! First visit and I’ll be back because there are a couple of dozen preparations of mussels...different sauces etc. Service was outstanding. Pleasant ambience. ”
